Marina and Yacht Management Program is going on as Marina Management in the period of 2013-2014 and then continuing to develop its curriculum as Marina and Yacht Management. The purpose of the program is to meet the need for specialized and qualified work force that has emerged in recent years with the increasing demand for super and mega yachts in the world, especially in Mediterranean countries. The marinas existing around Turkey, especially in Istanbul and Aegean regions due to the demand explosion in the Mediterranean countries, have entered the renovation process and many new marinas have begun to be built, where mega yachts can fit in demand and high quality services will be offered. In this direction, it aims to educate students as well equipped specialists by providing both theoretical and practical training on basic marina and yacht management.
